Current stageValidation design

TRL 2 · no integrated experimental proof of concept

Corelia Bio’s first planned evidence package targets CKD-driven cardiac injury and fibrosis. The proposed approach combines engineered human tissues, defined stress conditions and paired functional, structural and molecular readouts.

Intended use of capital

  • Define the first context of use with design partners.
  • Establish baseline tissue-module robustness.
  • Test a reproducible disease phenotype and intervention response.
  • Develop a partner-ready evidence package and a scoped paid pilot.

The detailed budget, sequencing and pilot terms are subject to scientific scope and financing.

Target milestones—not completed traction

The path to a first paid pilot.

  1. 15–20

    Discovery interviews

    Define a decision worth supporting.

  2. 2

    Written partner scopes

Agree intended use and study boundaries.

  3. 1

    Evidence package

    Evaluate technical acceptance criteria.

  4. ≥1

    Structured paid pilot

    Test commercial relevance.

First physical evidence package targeted for Q1 2027, subject to funding, partner scope and experimental readiness.

Founder experience

Ronald St-Louis, PhD, brings 12+ years across kidney and cardiometabolic research, fibrosis and drug discovery. Prior experience includes Harvard / Joslin Diabetes Center, OVIBIO and Evotec.

Ecosystem participation

Corelia Bio has participated in ELSA 2026 and the Life Science Factory Göttingen community, with visibility through InnoMatch Niedersachsen.

Corelia Intelligence

Corelia Bio also operates Corelia Intelligence (opens in a new tab), an AI-based research workspace that turns cardio-renal evidence into reviewable decision dossiers. It extends the HETS™ program on the evidence side and supports question framing ahead of partner studies.

What remains to be established

Integrated experimental feasibility, reproducibility, disease specificity, translational relevance and willingness to pay. These are the questions the proposed validation program is designed to address.

Advisory needs

Corelia Bio is seeking one or two biotech/pharma business-development advisors alongside strategic design partners.
